Summary: Uzumaki Naruto was coming home from school when he was attacked by a group of thugs. Unable to fight them off, a man comes to his rescues. With no way to repay him, the man takes something very simple from him. A stolen kiss. Now he must take on a wild ride where one mistake could cost his friendship or something worse.

Chapter Seven – Retreat

“I see.”

Kakashi had come over moments ago and told Iruka about the situation Naruto was faced and of course, Iruka over reacted until Kakashi calmly said that Sasuke was with him and looking out for him at the moment. Now that Iruka knew, he had to called two very important people to Naruto. Tsunade and Jiraiya. Jiraiya wasn’t home when Iruka called, so he tried calling Tsunade. When she heard, she rushed over and demanded from Kakashi the whole story. He told what he knew, and that left them here. Tsunade had just called Jiraiya’s cell and the man said he was in town and would drop by. Of course, Jiraiya was with the last person they needed getting involved in this. Orochimaru.

Though Kakashi didn’t know Orochimaru, he knew the man looked pleased when Tsunade informed Jiraiya of what happened. Every minute, more and more glee filled the mans eyes. Kakashi knew what he thought. Iruka didn’t seem to notice, nor did Tsunade and Jiraiya. Of course, when the three left, Kakashi explained what he saw with Orochimaru. “He never liked Naruto,” Iruka said calmly. “He liked it whenever Naruto got into trouble. Naruto didn’t like him much either.”

“Why?” Kakashi asked, not doubting why.

“Orochimaru…” Iruka’s voice trailed away. “He’s…”

“I see,” Kakashi said, leaning back at the kitchen table. “They’ll be coming back, I believe?”

“Yes, Tsunade and Jiraiya would want to see Naruto the minute he gets here, and unfortunately, Orochimaru will be here too.”

“I don’t trust him” Kakashi said.

“None of us do.”

A week later

A whole damn week and he was forced to follow Naruto around like a lost puppy. When they had turned up at Iruka’s – unfortunately he was dragged along – Iruka had begged and pleaded with him to keep an eye on Naruto. Of course, he wasn’t going to refuse with Kakashi keeping an eye on him so he kept an eye on Naruto – with considerable distance of course. It was then when things went wrong. Very wrong…

After school – Naruto had detention since he didn’t hand up a late project and had kept his teacher waiting almost a month – and he was walking down the corridors when he stopped in front of the detention room and overheard the conversation. “Why do you think it’s weird?”

“Because he’s seriously watching out for me, Shika! I don’t like it. it just feels…weird.”

“Kakashi-sensei is a stern man. He may not be serious, but hell he has his moments,” it belonged to a second room. What confused Sasuke was the fact it was detention and you weren’t meant to talk unless your time was up.

“You guys don’t understand,” Naruto groaned before there was a thump. “I don’t like it. I feel like I’m being stalked.”

There was a sigh before a muttered “Troublesome” came from the room. “Naruto,” Shikamaru said. “Maybe Sasuke’s just worried. After all, we all were when you told us what happened.”

“And upset that you didn’t call us!” the voice had to belong to Ino, one of Sakura’s friends. “We wanted to help too, but you didn’t tell us a thing until we got back to school and found out Iruka’s gotten you to see an Consular! And not to mention Principle Tsunade keeps looking in on our class.”

“But that doesn’t change the fact that Sasuke’s following me around. Though he keeps his distance, I feel as if he’s stalking me.”

A new voice came, and Sasuke defiantly reconsidered it. “N-Naruto-kun. I-I’m sure Sasuke-kun is just w-worried about you. W-Why don’t you speak to him a-about it?”

“This is Uchiha-kun!” Ino said. “You can’t just approach him and say-”

“And say ‘Hey, why are you stalking me?’ maybe?” They all jumped and turned to him. Sasuke leaned on the door, arms crossed and looking annoyed. “Do you honestly think I want to spend my time keeping an eye on you?” Sasuke demanded angrily. “I have better things to do but not only do I have Kakashi on my back, I have Tsunade and Iruka on my back over it. So before you say another word, Usuratonkachi, I hate it just as much as you do.”

Naruto looked away, choosing the window as a suitable distraction. “Sasuke-kun?” Ino jumped off the table and approached. “Then why don’t you tell Kakashi-sensei to-”

“Like I’m that stupid,” Sasuke snapped at her. “What am I to say? ‘By the way, I can’t be fucked following Naruto so deal with it you asshole?’ I don’t think so.”

“Troublesome,” Shikamaru groaned out. “You don’t have to be that mean.”

“N-Naruto-kun just wants you t-to understand that he doesn’t l-like it,” Hinata stuttered out, looking at Naruto before turning back to him. “I-If you’re going to k-keep an eye on him, w-why not spend that time w-with him?”

Naruto and Sasuke stared at her for a moment. Sasuke swore she knew his hidden secret but he had to deny it. instead, he found his voice joining Naruto’s in a sudden “WHAT?!”

Hinata whimpered. “I-I just thought that it w-would be good for t-the both of you. Y-You could get t-to know each other b-better.”

Naruto’s mouth fell open while Sasuke continued to stare. He hadn’t been thrown off balance so badly before, but he knew by the way she looked back at him that she knew the truth. Then again, living with Neji would reveal all. He had to get back on balance, he had to gain control so he snarled and said “that’s worse than actually following him around.” And with that, he turned on his heals and stalked away. He wish he never jumped into that conversation. He just wished it!

“Naruto?”

Naruto looked at the red haired who approached and grin hugely at him. “Gaara! Long time no talk!” he said too cheerfully. He knew the red haired saw through him, but it didn’t matter. He had to get his mind off things. “What’s up?”

Gaara gave a very rare – yet small – smile. “I heard you had detention. Are you being bad again?”

Naruto laugh lightly, “what makes you think that?” he asked, his voice a slight tease as they left the school grounds.

They walked for a moment, discussing why Naruto landed detention before Gaara came out with what was bugging him. “Naruto, I heard about…” he didn’t finish the sentence, didn’t dare say the word but he noticed the way the blonde shuddered. “Why didn’t you come and speak to me? Surely we could have done something about it. After all, my sister wouldn’t have been pleased if you-”

“Gaara,” Naruto said softly, his face shadowed by his hair. “I can’t go to the police. I can’t trust them. Actually, I need to trust this guy more or less rather than the police.” He could see Gaara’s face from the corner of his eye and continued quickly before Gaara could speak. “It’s not that I trust your sister with her occupation. I mean, you’re sister’s away been there for me since…well since we first meet, but I have to be careful with what I am doing.”

“You’re scared to return home, aren’t you?” Gaara asked slowly. “You’re scared that he’s going to come back, yet you claim you need to trust him?” he sounded angry. Naruto didn’t blame him, Gaara had been there just as long as his friend Sai – who was currently living in the central of the city – and they both wanted to protect him. “Did you tell…?”

“No, I didn’t. he doesn’t need to know right now. He needs to focus on his studies in Central.”

“He won’t be pleased,” Gaara said grumpily. “You know he won’t be.”

Naruto smiled weakly up at his friend and nodded. “I thank both of you for being there for me through these past few years. Really, your support has been…well been great, but,” he closed his eyes. “I know what I’m doing so you guys don’t need to worry.”

They stopped at the corner of the street. “Naruto,” Gaara said “if you want help, you can always come to me. I won’t turn you down if you need help.” Naruto nodded. “So if something happens, you’ll contact me?”

“Yeah,” Naruto whispered before turning away. “See you tomorrow, Gaara” and with that, he walked away.

Leaning back in his chair, Orochimaru flipped the page of his body with glee and amusement. It had truly made his day, hearing Naruto had gotten what came to him, and now a week later he was still feeling the same way. He hated the boy, truly loathed his existence. He was the son of Minato and Kushina, so he had every right to hate them. Hated Minato for stealing Kushina from him, hated Kushina for accepting Minato. So, when Tsunade and Jiraiya showed Naruto to him, he hated him for looking like his father. Hated him for being like his mother. He shouldn’t really, he never told Kushina his feelings, but he still hated them.

He smirked in his chair. Hates a too strong of a word to use on Naruto-kun. That was true, after all, Naruto had been through so much, the boy surely needed his uncles support as well as his aunts and godfather’s. “Tsunade is going to bring Naruto over next weekend for a week, to get Naruto away from school and home,” Jiraiya’s previous words had said, exactly a week from today. “Try not to be such a bastard towards him.” Oh Jiraiya had a way with words. Did he expect him to treat Naruto badly or something. If he had his way, he would appear once when Naruto arrived and once when he left. However, he wouldn’t be able to do that all week. So, he would keep up his appearances, treat Naruto nicely and maybe be rewarded at the end of the day. Yes, but what with? He already knew what.

The book was no longer amusing him so he closed the black book and laid it on his desk before turning the chair around to face the large window of the study. He had a perfect plan for Naruto this week. Tomorrow, Naruto would rock up at their door and he would be ready. Every step was a seduction. Every move, every gesture would be. He was seduce Naruto into believing he was safe and sound in this place, when really he would be walking into his hands all so willingly and when Naruto finally worked out his evil little plan, Naruto would be screaming…literally.

Just the thought made him aroused. Orochimaru shook his head gently to rid them of the naughty little thought. If you can’t have one, take the other, Orochimaru thought with a wicked smile. Yes, Naruto wouldn’t know what was coming until it was too late. Of course, he couldn’t make his move now, not tomorrow at least, but the next day…or the day after that. Yes, Orochimaru’s mind whispered, you’ve got it ready. You have your plans. You are going to win this. After all, Naruto better know how to react…after his little advent with that man…he had to remind himself that Naruto had, in fact, be raped by that man but his plans were too lustful to even care. He didn’t care if Naruto broke, wouldn’t that be better then? Naruto would do anything he said then.

Again, his mind wandered too far. He had to do something about that. Standing up, he stretched and left the safety of his office and headed towards the living room where he guessed Jiraiya was fast asleep on the couch. He peeked in, smirking when he was right, and headed into the kitchen and right into her.

“Orochimaru,” Tsunade always had been creepy, after all, she was sitting in a dark kitchen, sipping another bottle of Sake – one of her favourite alcoholic drinks. “Naruto will be coming over tomorrow, so you better not lay a finger on him.” she groaned when he switched the light on.

“Surely you’ll make sure of that,” Orochimaru rolled his eyes and pulled a cup from the cupboard. “You wouldn’t want him out of your sights for five seconds.”

Tsunade took a sip of her Sake before answering. “I’ve asked Kakashi if he would mind letting me bring Sasuke with him. After all, I don’t want you hurting Naruto so why not give him the best distraction in the world? His rival?”

Orochimaru had heard heaps of this Uchiha Sasuke. After all, the boy had been in the papers – for all the wrong reasons. His parents death, his brother’s alleged suicide. It was harsh. However, he knew perfectly where Uchiha Itachi went. However, he kept that closed up. “So you’re bringing a bodyguard?”

“Sasuke isn’t a bodyguard,” Tsunade snapped. “He’s Naruto’s friend and rival.”

“As well as secret crush…or was that that Sai boy?” Tsunade growled at the mention of that name and poured some more of the Sake into the small glass.

“That little brat,” she grumbled, gulping the sake rather than slowly drinking it. “He may have made Naruto smile and laugh, but he was bad news when he appeared.”

“You’re just upset that Naruto had found someone,” Orochimaru rolled his eyes as Jiraiya entered the room and the conversation. “Sai was a good boy to Naruto, and they are very much still in-”

“Don’t say it,” Tsunade groaned. “I know, I know.” She gulped another glass. “Anyways, Orochimaru. Lay a unwanted finger on him, and I’ll break it off, got it?”

He nodded and retreated, but he would have the last laugh before going. “That if he doesn’t want it. You didn’t say if he wanted it.” it as a good thing he was already down the hall when he finished, he would have gotten glass somewhere in his body. He loved the sound of glass breaking, and when Tsunade throw it, it made the most brilliant sound. Her angry growl sent him up the stairs quickly and back into the privative of his office. If Naruto didn’t want sex, Tsunade would kill him. However, if he did want sex, Tsunade had no power. All three of them knew that.
